Lyrics
I saw the light behind the rain,
A whisper called, and broke my chain.
The fire spoke — it said my name,
To truly live, become the flame.
All I was begins to fade,
In heat and truth, I am remade.
Burn, my soul — through night, through pain,
Rise again, through ash and rain.
Let go the form, let go the name,
To truly live — become the flame.
Wings of light through silence spread,
The old world sleeps, the dream is dead.
From spark to sun, from death to birth,
I melt, I merge with heaven and earth.
The darkness sighs, the stars ignite,
And I dissolve into the light.
Burn, my soul — through night, through pain,
Rise again, through ash and rain.
Let go the form, let go the name,
To truly live — become the flame.
In every end, the truth remains —
The soul that dies, the light that reigns.
The idea#
The fire does not comfort; it renames. A whisper breaks a chain, then issues the demand: to live truly, become the flame. Identity is renegotiated in heat—“all I was begins to fade”—until form and name are things one can set down.
Uplifting trance often sells transcendence as scenery; this lyric treats it as sacrifice and remaking. Wings of light open over a dead dream; spark becomes sun; the self melts into “heaven and earth.” The darkness sighs, the stars ignite, and dissolution is framed as reign rather than loss.
Perhaps the closing couplet is the doctrine underneath the lift: in every end a remainder of truth—the soul that dies so the light can rule. I hear less self-help than alchemical resolve, the body agreeing to burn for continuity of flame.
