Still I reach, but you’re no more.
Time has teeth—it chewed me through,
Left a shell that once knew you.
Every breath a debt unpaid,
Every dawn a light that fades.
The ghosts I keep are wearing thin,
Their voices drown beneath my skin.
I trace your name on fogged-up glass,
But even that is fading fast.
I wore your loss like sacred cloth,
Wrapped in sorrow, soaked in rot.
I begged the night to bring you back,
But stars just whispered what I lack.
And so I walk with fractured grace,
A pilgrim through your empty place.
Not seeking peace, nor seeking blame—
Just echoing your silent name.
The idea#
Silence that used to scream; a shadow burned into the floor; loss worn like sacred cloth soaked in rot. Epic trance gives the mourning a wide sky—dark drive, uplift that doesn’t pretend the person returns.
Time has teeth. Ghosts wear thin under the skin; a name traced on fogged glass fades anyway. The speaker walks with fractured grace through an empty place, not seeking peace or blame—only echoing a silent name.
That last refusal of tidy purpose is what I trust. Pilgrimage without destination, ash that still carries an acoustic. The track lifts the body while the lyric stays loyal to absence.
