The idea#
Once one flame, now cold and torn—changed until nothing shared survives except address. Same space, same place, souls that never graze; walking through one another “like shades untrue,” parallel lines in faded signs. Close enough to break, too far to take: the geometry of estrangement.
Uplifting trance over such lyrics creates a strange double exposure—drive and lift for people who already haunt the same rooms without meeting. Masks, scars, circling like distant stars; a hand reaches through “drifting sand.” Voices call from a hollow loft.
