Identity as industrial catechism: ice and fire, steel and stone, blood and bone. “Ich – bin – Deutscher!” is punched into the bar like rivets—firm as walls, still as fog, strong as farmers. Ancestors call in song; duty and honor leave no room for flight. Metal’s aggression is the natural climate for a self that claims to be earth, courage, core and crown.

“I shatter—but not” is the hinge: breakage admitted, collapse denied. Whether one receives this as pride, defiance, or something more fraught, the lyric’s surface is unflinching. Names are to be screamed in light; the past is “old and clear,” “as it always was.” Industrial cadence turns nationality into rhythm—less essay than anthem of refusal to vanish.
